Vintage 1970's Rare Handmade Cesar Manrique Devil Man on Lava & Olivina Rock - SIGNED "G.P."

In very good vintage condition, a rare handmade pewter statue on Lava Rock & the semi-precious stone ‘olivina’ found on the island. It is a miniature copy of the Devil Man / Fire Man of Timanfaya, as seen at the entrance to the Fire Mountains in Lanzarote.

Raised LANZAROTE on reverse on the body section. Signed “G.P” on the rock in gold colour and also hand engraved “G.P.” on the body of the Devil Man. This was the maker’s signature, probably a jeweller. If anyone can shed some light on the person’s name, I would be pleased to hear from them

Measures 11cm high.
